<p>L’accord sur le “Programme Vacances et Travail” signé entre les gouvernements de la France et du Chili en juin 2015, autorise les jeunes entre <strong>18 et 30</strong> ans révolus à demeurer sur le territoire chilien, sous certaines conditions pendant un an maximum, avec des fins touristiques et culturelles et à travailler éventuellement pour compléter leurs ressources économiques. Le visa permet de voyager individuellement sans personne à charge et sans être à la charge de personne, (le demandeur /demandeuse, ne doit pas avoir des enfants, épous(e) ou être partenaires d’un Pacs).</p>
<ol>
<li>Lire attentivement les conditions nécessaires à l’obtention du visa. Si vous avez des questions écrivez  nous à <strong><a href="mailto:visasparis@minrel.gob.cl"><em><u>visasparis@minrel.gob.cl</u></em></a></strong><strong> </strong>. <strong><u>Aucune information n’est donnée ni assurée par téléphone</u></strong><strong>.</strong></li>
<li>Remplir toutes les conditions signalées SANS EXCEPTIONS.</li>
<li>Envoyer au Consulat <strong><u>par voie postale</u></strong> le dossier complet, à notre adresse: 64 Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg 75007 Paris.</li>
<li><strong><u>Si le dossier n’est pas dûment complété il ne pourra être traité.</u></strong></li>
<li>Une fois le dossier envoyé, veuillez nous contacter 5 jours après son envoi afin de connaître sa bonne réception et savoir si votre demande a été traitée favorablement.</li>
<li>Si celle-ci est traitée favorablement, <strong><u>vous devrai vous présenter personnellement dans un délais de 60 jours</u></strong>, auprès du Consulat Général <strong><u>à Paris sans exceptions </u></strong> (du lundi au jeudi entre 9h et 11h) muni de votre passeport, pour signer et apposer votre empreinte digitale sur les formulaires et ensuite retirer le visa l’après-midi à <strong><u>14h00 précise</u></strong>.</li>
<li>Les démarches pour ce type de visa doivent s’effectuer uniquement auprès du Consulat Général du Chili à Paris (dépôt et retrait du visa).</li>
<li>Le demandeur du visa doit payer les droits d’obtention <strong><u>sur place par carte bancaire le jour du retrait</u></strong> (115,00€ approximativement).</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Conditions pour l’obtention du visa </strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Remplir le<a href="http://www.cgparis.cl/Files/formulario_visas.pdf"><u> </u></a><a href="http://www.cgparis.cl/Files/formulario_visas.pdf"><strong><em><u>formulaire</u></em></strong></a>  avec toutes les informations requises et le joindre au dossier de demande</li>
<li>Deux photos d’identité récente (3,5 x 4,5 cm.)</li>
<li>Photocopie du passeport avec une validité couvrant le séjour au Chili.</li>
<li>Documents (relevé bancaire ou attestation bancaire nominative) accréditant la solvabilité économique pour vivre au Chili (minimum 2.500 euros au début) ou attestation établie devant notaire dans le cas de voyage avec espèces.</li>
<li>Extrait du <a href="https://www.cjn.justice.gouv.fr/cjn/b3/eje20"><strong><u><em>Casier</em> <em>Judiciaire</em></u></strong></a><em><u> </u></em> (de moins de 3 mois)</li>
<li>Certificat médical attestant la bonne santé et certifiant ne pas être porteur de maladie contagieuse et/ou infectieuse.</li>
<li>Assurance santé et rapatriement pour 365 jours avec couverture internationale.</li>
<li>Copie integrale de naissance (moins de 3 mois).</li>
</ol>

<p>The Working Holiday Program signed between Chile and Austria on October 24, 2017, serves to promote mutual understanding by offering young Chilean and Austrian nationals the chance to get to know the culture, everyday life and working life of the other country during a holiday stay.</p>
<p>Young people between the ages of 18 and 30 will be able to (co-)finance their stay working as well as to use the educational institutions abroad.</p>
<p>The visa will allow you to stay in Chile for up to 12 months.</p>
<p><strong>To be eligible you must:</strong></p>
<p>a) Be an Austrian national who is residing in Austria at the time of application.</p>
<p>b) Be at least <strong>18 years and no more than 30 years old</strong> (both inclusive) at the time of application.</p>
<p>c) Not be accompanied by children nor other family members.</p>
<p>d) Not have been approved a visa permit under a Chile Working Holiday scheme before.</p>
<p>e) Have a valid passport for the whole stay in Chile.</p>
<p>f) Hold a return ticket, or have sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket.</p>
<p>g) Have sufficient funds for living during the initial stay in Chile (bank statement).</p>
<p>h) Hold an International Medical Insurance valid for your whole stay in Chile.</p>
<p>i) Pay the visa fee.</p>
<p>j) Present a certificate of good health.</p>
<p>k) Present a background certificate.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> Work in Chile must not be the main purpose of the visa holder’s visit. The main purpose of your stay <strong>must be holiday</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Documents required</strong></p>
<p>a) Your passport’s photo page.</p>
<p>b) Medical certificate (free of infectious diseases).</p>
<p>c) Background certificate.</p>
<p>d) 1 passport size photograph (80% of your face must appear in the photograph)</p>
<p>e) Complete the visa form with your information and send it in Word format  to viena@consulado.gob.cl (you can find the form at the end of this post).</p>
<p><strong>How to apply</strong></p>
<p>You must do it online at <a href="https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/</a> (press the english flag and then press VISA).</p>
<p>Upload all the documents listed above one by one.</p>
<p>You can find a manual on how to apply online step by step at the end of this post.</p>
<p><strong>When to apply</strong></p>
<p>Anytime.</p>
<p><strong>How much time do you have to travel to Chile after your visa has been approved?</strong></p>
<p>You have <strong>90 days</strong> from the date your visa has been stamped on your passport to enter to Chile and activate your visa.</p>

<p>The Working Holiday Program was established in order to give young people from Chile and Denmark a chance to experience each other’s culture and way of life.</p>
<p>Those who qualify for the program obtain a residence permit for a maximum of 12 months. The primary purpose of your stay must be holiday, but you may work during your stay in order to earn supplementary funds to support yourself.</p>
<p>You are allowed to work for a maximum period of 6 months during a 12-month stay, and also study or take a training course for a limited period of time.</p>
<p><strong>To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:</strong></p>
<p>A) Be a Danish national who is residing in Denmark at the time of the application.</p>
<p>B) Be at least 18 and no more than 30 years old (both inclusive) at the time of application.</p>
<p>C) Not be accompanied by children.</p>
<p>D) Copy of the valid Danish passport (only the page with personal information).</p>
<p>E) Hold a return ticket, or sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket.</p>
<p>F) Have a minimum of US$3,000 available funds to meet your living costs while you are in Chile (evidence of funds will have to be provided, such as bank account statements, credit cards statements, or money orders).</p>
<p>G) Provide a police record in order to meet our character requirements.</p>
<p>H) Provide a medical examination (with the family doctor’s certificate it’s enough).</p>
<p>I) Hold medical and comprehensive hospitalization insurance for the length of your stay.</p>
<p>J) Provide 1 color recent passport size photograph in color (not a picture taken with your phone).</p>
<p>K) Send a simple application letter with contact information and description of your trip (not formal).</p>
<p>You must present the application and the documents at the Consulate of Chile in Denmark, or send all the documents by normal mail and call 5 days after to get an appointment.</p>
<p><strong>Fee:</strong> US$542 + 10%.</p>

<p>Anytime.</p>

<p>The Working Holiday Visa will be valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the arrival date into Chilean territory. This visa allows applicants to travel and work in short-term employment during their stay in Chile.</p>
<p>You are allowed to work up to 6 months with the same employer.</p>
<p>Please note that the Chilean Authorities are unable to assist individuals to gain employment under this Scheme.</p>
<p><strong>To be eligible you must: </strong></p>
<p>A) Be a New Zealand national who is residing in New Zealand at the time of the application. You MUST be living in New Zealand.<br />B) Be at least 18 and no more than 35 years old (both inclusive) at the time of application;<br />C) Not be accompanied by children;<br />D) Submit your application and meet all the requirements listed below.</p>
<p><strong>Documents required (scan and submit all the following documents – No exceptions):</strong></p>
<p>1)<strong> Your passport’s photo page</strong> – Passport has to valid for at least 1 year 6 months.</p>
<p>2) <strong>Confirmed Flight ticket/Flight itinerary.</strong> You can provide a one-way flight booking.</p>
<p>3)<strong> Evidence of NZ$4200.</strong> CURRENT bank statements, credit cards statements, travel cheques or money orders.</p>
<p>4) <strong>Criminal Record Certificate from the NZ Ministry of Justice</strong>. <p>5) <strong>Medical certificate confirming you are free of infectious diseases*</strong>: signed by a registered medical practitioner and dated within 30 days prior to date of application. The certificate must certify you are free of any contagious disease and in good health for your upcoming travel to Chile. Do not submit the medical results, just the letter of the medical practitioner/centre confirming that you are free of contagious diseases*</p>
<p>6) <strong>Travel Insurance:</strong> Medical and comprehensive hospitalisation insurance for 12 months; holdmedical insurance by the time of application. No exceptions.</p>
<p>7) <strong>Hotel Bookings</strong> or accommodation details (hold accommodation for at least your first day in Chile).</p>
<p>8) passport-size <strong>photograph</strong> (a COLOURED clear picture with a white background). Not a Selfie.</p>
<p>9) Complete and signed <strong>Application forms</strong> (at the end of this post).</p>
<p><strong>How to apply for your visa? </strong></p>
<p><strong>You have to do it online:</strong> Click <a href="https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/">https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/</a>, Press the English flag, and then press VISA.</p>
<p>Upload all the documents listed above one by one.</p>
<p><strong>When to apply</strong></p>
<p>There are no application dates for this visa. It is your responsibility to apply in advance to avoid inconveniences.</p>
<p><strong>Application process</strong></p>
<p>Only once the above mentioned information has been received, your visa will be processed.<br />Any missing documentation will cause a delay in your visa process at your own expenses.</p>
<p>Providing the information requested above does not necessarily mean that you will be granted a visa.</p>
<p>Additional information may be requested throughout the application process.</p>
<p>Once your visa has been stamped, the Consulate will coordinate delivery of your visa and documents you have to sign. They will discuss this matter with you once your visa has been approved.<br />Once they have received your application, and they have granted your visa, they will ask you to courier your passport so they can have it here when your visa is paid and ready to be stamped.</p>
<p>Once your visa is granted, you have 90 days to enter Chile and remain under your visa scheme.</p>
<p>You will have to register your visa within the first 30 days of arrival, and apply for a Chilean ID card. We include these instructions once we courier your passport with the visa stamped back to you.</p>
<p><strong>Processing times</strong></p>
<p>These visas take 10 working days in being processed and approved.<br />We do not carry out emergency processing, you must make sure you apply in advance and submit all the documents.</p>
<p><strong>Fees</strong></p>
<p>New Zealand Citizens: US$127 – Paid in NZD according to the exchange rate of the month the visa is granted.</p>
<p>Fees have to be paid only once the visa has been approved by Immigration Chile. Do not include cheques, credit card details or cash.</p>
<p><strong>*Information about the medical letter</strong></p>
<p>This is a regular/basic medical check, this exams might include:<br />– blood and /or urine samples (e.g.; to discharge infections, haemorrhage, sepsis, etc.). The doctor should be able to tell if you are healthy by a simple and regular medical check.<br />-Check of vital organs, to see if you have any hearth problems, appendicitis, tumours or anything that can be dangerous for you, and it can affect your stay in Chile.<br />-Personal Interview: the doctor will be able to tell if you suffer from depression, or any mental issues that can affect your stay during Chile.<br /><strong>Do not get X Rays. This medical check is a basic one, it is requested to discharge any disease or medical condition that can affect you during your stay in Chile, or disqualify you to travel abroad.</strong><br /><strong>We need to make sure you don’t realize you carried a disease while you are away.</strong></p>
<p><strong>ABOUT THE APPLICATION WEBSITE:</strong> Where it says <strong>“Contact in Chile, Name of Employer/Educational Institution or place of activity in Chile”</strong> write down your accommodation details.</p>

<p align="left"><strong>Visa validity</strong></p>
<p>Participants shall be entitled to a Multiple Entry visa valid for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first entry to Chile.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Age between eighteen (18) and thirty (30) years inclusive at the time of visa application</li>
<li>Holder of tertiary education qualifications, or have satisfactorily completed or have been approved to undertake a third year of undergraduate university studies.</li>
<li>Functional proficiency in Castellan language (Spanish), assessed at the Consulate.</li>
<li>Not to have dependent children</li>
<li>Holder of passport valid for at least a year</li>
<li>Two-way (return) travel ticket (or sufficient funds to purchase such a ticket)</li>
<li>Proof of reasonable funds for living during the initial stay in Chile, evaluated by the Consul</li>
<li>Health Certificate stating not suffering from any contagious/infectious diseases</li>
<li>To hold an International Medical Insurance</li>
<li>Police Report with no record</li>
<li>Letter from the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs of Australia (DIMA) confirming the applicant’s requirement´s fulfilment and selection to participate in the Program. This document is requested at DIMA, Canberra.</li>
</ol>

<p align="left"><strong>Documents</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Photocopy of a Valid Passport which original should be presented on the day for Visa issuance (pages of identification and proof of Australian residence).</li>
<li>Original tertiary qualifications, issued by an accredited institution.</li>
<li>Police Clearance Certificate (requested from the Police in your State of Residence (expires within 90 days from date of Issue).</li>
<li>Original Health Certificate (model enclosed), signed and stamped by an authorized Physician, stating that the applicant is free from any contagious/infectious disease, and in good health compatible with the activities which will be undertaken in Chile.</li>
<li>Medical Insurance, valid for at least a year from the date of entry.</li>
<li>One recent passport-size photograph.</li>
<li>Letter from the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs.</li>
<li>Original proof that the applicant has reasonable funds for living during the first three months in Chile (Bank Statements, Centre Link Payments whilst overseas,or of the family, if supported by parents).</li>
<li>A Statutory Declaration stating that applicant does not have any dependent children.</li>
<li>Original Birth Certificate (Full Copy, and NOT the Extract).</li>
</ol>
<p align="left"><strong>Application process</strong></p>
<p align="justify">Visa applications to be presented in Australia by the applicant through the website of Consular Procedures Online: <a href="https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl/" rel="nofollow">https://tramites.minrel.gov.cl</a>.</p>
<p align="justify">The Consulate-General will acknowledge receipt of the arrival of the visa application complete file with originals, via email to the address supplied by the applicant.</p>
<p align="justify">Review and Approval of Requirements will follow in due course (10-15 working days), at which time a short interview appointment will be allocated, and Visa approved if requirements are met (Chilean Consulates are located in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney).</p>
<p align="justify">Visa application will be processed within 10 to 15 working days from approval.</p>
<p align="justify">Applicant will be allocated an appointment for Visa Issuing (Payment, Signing, Fingerprinting of Immigration Visa Forms and collect Passport with Visa).</p>
